Our shop was born out of the idea of doing one thing, and being the best at that one thing that we possibly can be. That thing...sell and service bikes, and only bikes. Our modest beginnings as JB Mountain Bikes, in a small garage on a back street alley in Shillington, PA started with a strict focus on mountain bikes. As one of the few, high-end, custom builder shops in the region, our reputation and clientele grew nationwide and we were quickly known as THE source for anything and everything mountain bike related in the southeastern PA region.
Even though our roots will always be planted firmly in the dirt, over the years, we've expanded to include more than just mountain bikes. After all, when we're not on the mountain bike, we're on the road bike, cross bike...it was only natural to expand our focus and become a full service shop to meet all of our customers' cycling needs.
So, fast forward to 2017, after 2 additional shop moves that saw our showroom continually expand to stock more bikes, accessories and gear, we changed our name to JB's Bike Shop. A new name, new logo, but the same expert level of customer service and sales that our customers have come to expect throughout our 20+ years of serving the Reading, PA area.
Our current showroom has the largest in-stock selection of the industry's best road, gravel, cyclocross, bmx, kids, hybrid...and mountain cycling products in the Berks County region.
